Barnabas Project

The Barnabus Project is a partnership between local churches in the United States and Baptist University of the Américas for the development and implementation of multi-ethnic ministries, especially among Hispanic populations. The specific types of ministries are dependent on several factors, including:
(a) the demographic characteristics of the area served by the church
(b) specific needs of the church and the community where it is located
(c) skills and interests of students participating in the program
(d) the short-term or long-term character of the ministries to be developed

Among the types of ministries that may be developed are: summer mission projects, family development activities, church planting activities, ethnic integration ministries, missionary outreach projects, community service, and art and music ministries.
