Development Administrator

Position Information
Title of Position: Development Administrator
Benefits: Position is benefits-eligible
Hours per week: 40
Salary: Negotiable, depending on education & experience
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to deal comfortably with donors / prospective donors and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills: time management, project management; events management details.
- Proficiency with computer systems and other office equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite (WORD; EXCEL; PowerPoint; Access)
- Ability to lead team members and departmental staff on university-wide project assignments.
- Over 18 years of age; not a current student at the University.
- High school diploma & significant training in office management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge donor information system.
Summary of Job Duties
- Maintain donor database.
- Research and manage donor related information.
- Donor receipting and acknowledgement of gift correspondence.
- Donor mailings.
- Administrative duties of the Development Office and development team schedule.
- Assist/lead events and special projects that have external constituencies as their primary audience.
- Other duties as assigned by the VP for Development.
