Come join us in Chapel April 12 with Dr. Leslie Hollon, Senior Pastor of Trinity Baptist Chruch.

Leslie Hollon is a pastor, preacher, professor and author.  Leslie serves as Senior Pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas.   He has just completed filming an interfaith roundtable forum for San Antonio’s, NBC affiliates WOAI, which focused on how to look at world events through eyes of faith.

Leslie writes in areas of Christian faith and practice; has contributed to nine books plus several periodicals.  Among his most recent releases was Christian Reconciliation Ministries: Healing Hurts and Building Hope.  His global travels have taken him to Asia, Europe, Africa, South and North America.  His teaching engagements vary from the villages of Ghana to the annual assembly of the International Baptist Convention in Switzerland.  Among his various responsibilities are the Chairman for Reconciliation Networks of Our World, leadership with Baptist World Alliance and a Board Member for San Antonio’s United Way.

Leslie grew up in the Texas Hill Country of Boerne.  When 15 he began preaching as a high school senior and won the Texas State Championship in persuasive speaking. The Columbus Avenue Baptist Church of Waco, Texas licensed him to ministry and he was ordained by the First Baptist Church of Knoxville, Tennessee.

A graduate of Baylor University, he was the Outstanding Senior Man for Leadership and Service.  Leslie holds a Master of Divinity, Master of Theology and a Doctor of Philosophy from Southern Seminary of Louisville, Kentucky.  

Leslie’s wife is Dr. Vicki Hollon.  They are the parents of three children, who are: Rachel (2001 Baylor graduate), an actress who lives in Hollywood; Ryan, an urban anthropologist with Chicago’s Field Museum; Steven, a senior at Baylor University.
