Workshop Sessions

The Questions Christians Hope No One Will Ask (101, 201, 301)
-Mark Mittelberg & Lee Strobel
Some questions can stop a conversation. Today, more than ever, people are raising difficult, penetrating questions about faith, God, and the Bible. Our confidence as Christians — and the spiritual journeys of our friends and family members who need Christ — depends on our learning how to best answer those questions. In this interactive 3-part workshop Lee Strobel and Mark Mittelberg will tag-team to address some of the toughest questions people are asking, and they’ll offer proven wisdom for how to best address these issues in the context of the local church.

Can We Trust the New Testament? (101, 201, 301)
-Mike Licona
Is the New Testament in our hands an accurate reproduction of what was originally written? Why were some books excluded from the New Testament? Do the Gospels contradict one another? Were the authors biased? All these and more questions will be answered in this workshop by New Testament historian Dr. Mike Licona.

Relating to Islam (101, 201, 301)
-Mark Pfieffer
In this workshop, learn the basics of Islamic history, beliefs, practices, and worldview, including the Muslim view of Christianity. Learn how to fruitfully interact with Muslims, including how to avoid cultural mishaps and theological land mines. Most importantly, learn very practical ways to share the gospel with Muslims in non-threatening and non-confrontational ways.
