On Campus Housing

At Baptist University of the Americas (BUA) students have a choice of on-campus housing options. The newest on-campus residence is Piper Village (PV). This complex offers apartment-style living. Apartments for single students are called Resident Halls. The Resident Halls have units with four private bedrooms, two full bathrooms, living room, kitchenette with a sink, full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and a walk-in closet in each BR. Two students share a double occupancy bedroom. Single bedroom occupancy can be requested upon availability and an extra fee. This apartment complex is owned and managed by BUA and ALL single student residents are required to purchase meal plans.

Piper Village (PV) also has one and two bedroom apartments. These apartments are exclusively offered to married couples and families studying here at BUA. The apartments includes: one bathroom, a living room, a kitchenette with a sink, full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher and a walk-in closet. Residents are required to contact CPS Energy at 210-353-2222 to start electric service in their name. Married students are not required to purchase meal plan.

PV is a traditional style Resident Hall is conveniently located next to South-35 across from the BUA main campus. Restaurants nearby are: Olive Garden, Longhorn Steak House, Mama Margie’s and Red Lobster. Grocery Store: HEB is about 6-8 blocks away from PV.

Two-bedroom unit $ 700 + electricity

One-bedroom unit $ 550 + electricity

Four-bedroom with (2) single students per room $ 250, electricity included

Resident Hall Student Housing

All Spring 2012 returning students may stay in the same dorm. If you want to change apartment or room number you may contact Irma Rivera, irma.rivera@bua.edu, for a Room Assignment Form.

I need to stay on campus housing for Christmas Break starting on December 10th, 2011 – January 9th, 2012. I understand that if I want to have a guest over I need to fill out a guest request form and submit the request to irma.rivera@bua.edu
