Our BUA family (students, staff, and faculty) gathers for Chapel every Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. during the school semester. It is always a special time of inspiration and community. During Chapel, we are led in praises to Jesus Christ by our in-house band, followed by a message from the Word of God (the Bible) by a keynote speaker.
After every chapel experience, lunch is provided for those in attendance. Local churches, Christian ministries, or other non-profit organizations provide it.
Chapel as a Requirement
Every degree (AA and BA) student must complete four semesters of Chapel to graduate — with an expected attendance of 85% to earn credit (EC) for the semester.
If you cannot attend Chapel in person because of health, work, or distance reasons, you can request special permission from the Office of Academic Affairs to complete your chapel requirement online. Chapel is a graduation requirement if you're a degree student.
