Christian Service Program

The Christian Service Program (CSP) is a curricular requirement for graduation for all degree students at BUA. Although a not-for-credit experience, the CSP is designed as a service-learning experience to provide practicum experiences in areas of ministry both in the local church and the community. It’s a tremendous opportunity to grow and apply what you learn in the classroom.

Bachelor of Arts students need to fulfill six semesters of the CSP. Students must demonstrate that they have served a minimum of 10 hours per semester in a local Christian church or another non-profit organization. Transfer students and students in the Associate's program have different CSP requirements. However, satisfaction of the CSP requirement is a graduation requirement for all degree students.

Service experience obtained during the completion of your CSP hours can be added to your resumé or curriculum vitae as you search for employment after graduation.
