Accreditation

Baptist University of the Américas is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) to award degrees at the associate and baccalaureate level. ABHE is located at 5850 T G Lee Blvd, Suite 130, Orlando, FL 32822, and can be reached at 407-207-0808. Degree programs offered are:

Undergraduate Programs:

  • B.A. in Biblical/Theological Studies
  • B.A. in Business Leadership
  • B.A. in Human Behavior
  • B.A. in Music
  • A.A. in Cross-cultural studies

Graduate Programs:

  • Master of Arts in Practical Theology & Ministry

As a graduation requirement, all students in a B.A. program must attend four semesters of Chapel, and six semesters of Christian Service Program. All B.A. programs incorporate 30 hours of Bible.

BUA is authorized by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to offer associate and bachelor’s degree.

BUA is affiliated with the Baptist General Convention of Texas.

BUA offers both face-to-face and online and/or virtual classes.

BUA is categorized as a 501(c)(3), non-profit status institution.

Students will develop life-long applications of their basic knowledge of the Bible in a relational context, mediated through a Christian value system, and applied in ministry.

Learning will become a self perpetuating cycle fed from continuous learning and application to new situations through a series of living exchange relationships.
