
At Baptist University of the Américas (BUA) students have a choice of on-campus housing options. The newest on-campus residence is Piper Village (PV).
This complex offers apartment-style living. Apartments for single students are called Resident Halls. The Resident Halls have units with four private bedrooms, two full bathrooms, living room, kitchenette with a sink, full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and a walk-in closet in each BR. Two students share a double occupancy bedroom. Single bedroom occupancy can be requested upon availability and an extra fee. This apartment complex is owned and managed by BUA.
Piper Village also has unfurnished one and two bedroom apartments. These apartments are exclusively offered to married couples studying here at BUA. The apartments includes: one bathroom, a living room, a kitchenette with a sink, full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher and a walk-in closet. Residents are required to contact CPS Energy at 210-353-2222 to start electric service in their name.
Piper Village, a traditional style Resident Hall, is conveniently located next to I-35 South across from the BUA main campus. Restaurants nearby are: Olive Garden, Longhorn Steak House, Mama Margie’s and Red Lobster. Grocery Store: HEB is about 6-8 blocks away from Piper Village on Zarzamora St and SW Military Dr. Walmart is across is behind Piper Village in corner intersection of I-35 S and Poteet Rd.
Campus apartments will be available for full-time students on a first-come basis. The rental rates below are per month. Rent is due on the first business day of the month. Utilities are included in the rental charge for four-bedroom units. Residents in one and two-bedroom units are responsible for their utilities through arrangements with local providers.
