BUA teaches all courses to the following program learning outcomes as appropriate.

Associate of Arts in General Studies Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

Students that complete the Associate of Arts in General Studies will be able to:

PLO 1: Justify the inclusion of 21st century workforce skillsets as essential empowerment tools of functional ministry operations.

PLO 2: Defend the inter-cultural competencies that allow the individual to relate to people of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

PLO 3: Justify the Christian character, worldview, and work ethic necessary to serve individuals, families, and communities as ministers at local churches or in community settings.

PLO 4: Interpret knowledge from the field of study utilizing historical, social, literary, and ecclesiastical contexts.

Bachelor of Business Administration Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

Students that complete the Bachelor of Business Administration will be able to:

PLO 1: Justify the inclusion of 21st century workforce skillsets as essential empowerment tools of functional business leadership operations.

PLO 2: Defend the cross-cultural competencies that allow the individual to relate to people of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

PLO 3: Argue biblical ethics and values as fundamental requirements of business and leadership.

PLO 4: Evaluate leadership skills for use in life and business to address contemporary issues and challenges.

Bachelor of Arts in Biblical/Theological Studies Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

Students that complete the Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Theological Studies will be able to:

PLO 1: Justify the inclusion of 21st century workforce skillsets as essential empowerment tools of functional ministry operations.

PLO 2: Interpret biblical and theological knowledge utilizing historical, social, literary, and ecclesiastical contexts.

PLO 3: Argue biblical ethics and values as fundamental requirements of biblical ministry.

PLO 4: Evaluate leadership skills for use in life and ministry to address contemporary issues and challenges.

Bachelor of Arts in Music Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

Students that complete the Bachelor of Arts in Music will be able to:

PLO 1: Justify the inclusion of 21st century workforce skillsets as essential empowerment tools of functional music ministry operations.

PLO 2: Defend the cross-cultural competencies that allow the individual to relate to people of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds within the music world.

Bachelor of Arts in Human Behavior Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

Students that complete the Bachelor of Arts in Human Behavior will be able to:

PLO 2: Defend the inter-cultural competencies that allow the individual to relate to people of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

PLO 4: Interpret the historical, scientific, and practical foundations of the psychological and social sciences as applied to leadership positions, situations, and challenges in the workplace.

Master of Arts in Practical Theology and Ministry Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

Students that complete the Master of Arts in Practical Theology and Ministry will be able to:

PLO 1: Summarize the cultural and historical context of Scripture.

PLO 2: Interpret the orderly, rational, and coherent exegesis of theology and Christian doctrines.

PLO 3: Differentiate an appropriate context for the effective delivery of the message of Christianity in various cultural contexts and global worldviews.

PLO 4: Effectively integrate theological contexts within strategic practical ministry.
