BUA is a nationally recognized school for training Christian leaders and is educating more Hispanic ministers than all the other Texas Baptist schools and seminaries combined. This would not be possible without the faithfulness of our friends and donors.
Baptist University of the Américas is impacting various areas of Texas, the United States and the world. Contributions from donors give our students the platform needed to prepare for ministry as well as to actively work in ministry areas where cross-cultural leaders are needed, which is the Mission of BUA. What are cross-cultural leaders? They not only learn the language where they minister, but they learn about the culture to be able to reach out to communities throughout the globe.
BUA is strategically placed to impact the growing Hispanic demographic in Texas and the United States to raise literacy levels across the board by providing high-quality accessible education. BUA’s enrollment of 261 students ranks it at the top, nationally, among all accredited universities for Hispanic ministry graduates at the bachelor’s level.
Our monthly donor program is called the Amigo Donor.
Amigo Donors can be individuals, churches or organizations. They give what they can on a regular basis, usually monthly, and are the core of our financial support.
The smallest amount given consistently over time has a huge effect. They are our lifeline.
