Our team at Baptist University of the Americas does its best to take good care of all our facilities, including the housing units. We have people dedicated to making our home one you would like to visit, live and study in. Partnering with campus residents is critical in achieving this goal. To help us do this, the housing team conducts regular inspections of everyone's living space.
Single Housing Inspections
Each single-student dorm has a Resident Assistant (RA). RAs delegate responsibilities to those in their dorm and conduct weekly inspections of each student's area to ensure compliance with cleanliness expectations. Additionally, the University's housing team carries out monthly scheduled inspections, adding a layer of accountability to ensure units are clean and everything is in proper working order. Unscheduled inspections may be conducted without prior notice.
Married Housing Inspections
Students in married housing are responsible for making sure their apartments are clean and in good working condition at all times. Once a month, the housing team will schedule inspections of all apartments and provide advanced notice. Someone does not need to be present for the inspection. If any issues are found, the resident will be promptly notified with the expectation that the matter will be corrected as soon as possible.
Maintenance Requests
In the event that there is a need for repair or replacement of any thing that is broken or not working properly, the student should complete and submit the following form:
