The University provides on-campus housing for full-time married students, with or without children. Married students may live in one bedroom or two-bedroom apartments, depending on availability and the needs of their family. On-campus apartments for full-time married students are available on a first-come first-serve basis. Married couples will be given additional priority consideration for housing when both spouses are enrolled for full-time studies with the University. Married students may be required to provide a copy of their marriage certificate when applying for housing.
Apartments for married students include: a living room, a small kitchen, a bathroom and a closet in each bedroom. The kitchen is equipped with a sink, refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. The university has a maintenance team responsible for essential repairs.
One of the most wonderful things that make Baptist University of the Americas a special place are the married student families interacting with everyone else on campus. It’s a joy to see children play around campus and enjoy a safe environment to live in!
Married housing requires a 6-month lease agreement signed by the student. All residents are required to follow all policies and rules to remain living on campus.
Residents in one and two-bedroom units are responsible for their electric service and are required to setup service accordingly with CPS energy in San Antonio. Water service is included in the monthly rent.
