Single Housing

Bedding, lamps, and decor items are for staging purposes only and are not included. The dorm space includes desks and mattresses, while the living room is furnished with a sofa, table, and chairs.

The University provides on-campus housing for full-time single (without children) in four-bedroom dormitories. Dormitories can accommodate up to 8 single students and have two bathrooms, a kitchen and a common living area. Each dorm is assigned a Resident Assistant (RA) who supervises every aspect of live in the dormitory.

Single students living in dormitories share a bedroom with a roommate for a double-occupancy rate, but if the space is available, they may request a bedroom for themselves for a single-occupancy rate. Dormitories have walk-in closets and are already furnished with beds, drawers, desks and chairs. Since space is limited, students are only allowed to bring essential items to live, eat, study, cook, etc. Utilities are included in the dorm cost per semester.

Dormitories are all male or all female. Baptist University of the Americas does not have coed dorms. Students or visitors from one gender cannot enter into a dorm of the opposite sex.

Dorm life at the university is full of many opportunities to laugh and grow together. New life long relationships are established and students are able to develop authentic friendships that will last a lifetime, while at the same time, get spiritually closer to God. It’s fun living together!
