The Baptist University of the Américas is pleased to provide spaces for students to relax, stay active, have fun, and spend time with others. As a student, you have access to these areas for your leisure and enjoyment.
Student Center
The newly remodeled student center is open every day of the week. Besides being our chapel and central gathering space, it's used for many student activities and as the primary place to hang out with your BUA classmates. The Center is also equipped with multiple table games like ping-pong and foosball. Take advantage of all the fun!
Fitness Room
For those who are determined to stay or get healthy and in shape, the university has designed a space to help you do just that. Equipped with multiple types of exercise equipment, weights, etc., the BUA fitness room will make it easier to maintain better health. It's a relatively small space, but it has everything you need to achieve your goals!
Sand Volleyball Court
In the middle of our student housing, you will find a lighted sand volleyball court. It is always open and ready for students to have a competitive game with their friends and enjoy each other's company. For those living on campus, it's right next to the dorms and apartments. Fun is just a few steps away!
Playground
Married students with children will enjoy playing with their kids at our campus playground. It's located within walking distance of the apartments, and it provides a safe environment for families to play and enjoy each other's company. Families are a vital part of our BUA community.
